For years, I poured my heart into nourishing others through cooking. Then I began to understand that nourishment reaches far beyond the plate.
I had become disconnected from myself—my voice, my intuition, and the life I truly wanted to create. I had settled. I had stayed quiet. I had put my own needs aside to keep the peace.
Eventually, I knew I wanted something different. And I understood that a different life would require different choices.
So I began choosing myself—not all at once, but one intentional decision at a time.
Healing over habits.
Presence over perfection.
Courage over comfort.
I began paying attention to the woman I wanted to become and making choices that aligned with her. Not perfectly. Not without fear. But consistently enough to begin coming home to myself.
Along the way, food became something more.
I had always believed that beautiful food has an extraordinary ability to bring people together. But I began to see that when food is prepared with intention, shared with gratitude, and enjoyed with presence, it can become a doorway—a way to slow down, reconnect, and remember what matters.
Pure Joy grew from that awakening.
It is the meeting place between the way I have always nourished others and the way I am learning to nourish my own mind, body, and soul. It brings together the ingredients that have helped me create a more intentional life: beautiful food, reflection, music, movement, connection, and the courage to choose differently.
Pure Joy is not about doing everything perfectly or following a prescribed process. It is an invitation to notice what you need, choose what supports you, and begin believing in the thoughts and emotions that can transform the way you experience your life.
Because nourishment is more than what we place on a plate. It is what we think. What we believe. What we listen to. What we practice. What we allow ourselves to receive.
And sometimes, the smallest intentional choice becomes the beginning of an entirely new life.
